Stonex Consulting is the Independent Stone consultants for large scale luxury and hospitality construction projects.
Founded in 2016 in UAE by Eng. Vincenzo Spina, an Italian building engineer and entrepreneur from Carrara specialized in natural stone projects, with the aim to implement an engineered and practical approach to the selection of stone in large scale projects. Our Mission
Natural stone management can be complex without the appropriate procedures. Our role is to establish the proper procedures for effective natural stone management.
Our mission is to simplify the procedures for specifying, selecting, and managing natural stone materials in architectural construction projects. We help architects, developers, and contractors build with natural stone, and avoid the challenges of dealing with high variational material.

Our unique process is designed to avoid selecting the wrong stone materials, using the wrong application methodologies, and supplying a substandard-quality product to the project. Thus, the client’s asset is protected, and the project is delivered on time.
Comprehensive Services
We help select the “right stone” for the project, validate the application methodologies through advising a testing plan, and inspect at the source with a team of architectural stone inspectors located in Italy, Turkey, Greece, China, and Portugal, inspect in the factories and on-site, support procurement strategy, and manage the stone package.

Stonex Consulting was established in 2016 by Eng. Vincenzo Spina, a civil engineer from Carrara, Italy.
Vincenzo Spina has a robust business background gained from entrepreneurial ventures across various industries. “My mission is to help architects, developers, and contractors build with natural stone sustainably and without half the headache they usually face”.
Vincenzo Spina is also an international speaker. He was invited to share his expertise on building with natural stone materials at the Middle East Stone Fair 2017 and 2018 in Dubai and the Xiamen Stone Fair 2018 and 2019.
Vincenzo Spina is also an international speaker, having given speeches about optimizing stone selection processes and promotion of the stone industry in UAE, China and USA.
